Bangkok Restaurant Review: Farm to Table Cafe

Iced Coffee & Salad at Farm to Table Cafe Bangkok

I’m a huge fan of the Farm to Table movement and love to eat healthy, locally sourced ingredients as much as possible, so when I heard about the new restaurant in Rattanakosin literally named “Farm to Table” and read that they served a mean salad, I immediately added it to my bookmarks. Today, some friends and I were going to go check out the Siriraj Medical Museum (aka The Museum of Death) and needed a place in Old Town to meet for lunch, this is where we headed.

The cafe is very small with only a few tables and the menu is very limited, but it is adorable and trendy. As you can see, the salad was very small – side salad sized, but full salad priced. That was a bit disappointing. However, they redeemed themselves with their freshly made organic gelato in a variety of fun flavors. I couldn’t resist and had to try the popcorn flavored one.

From there we headed to the Chao Playa to take a ferry across the river to explore the medical oddities at the forensic museum, which if you are interested in offbeat things like this, I highly recommend checking out.
