Bangkok Cafe Review: Siwilai Rocket Coffeebar

Siwilai Rocket

I am absolutely enamored with Rocket Coffeebar S.49, so decided to check-out their Siwilai Rocket location located on the 5th Floor of Central Embassy.

Siwilai Rocket | Sapparot Deconstructed Dessert & Caffe Shakerato

This Sapparot Deconstructed Dessert was a complete work of art. The rolls are pineapple and lime mousses served with roast coconut ice cream on a bed of spongey cake accented with coconut water tapioca, ginger gel, and sesame cookies. As much as molecular gastronomy is a fad that is supposed to be “so over”, I found this dessert absolutely delightful. I enjoyed constructing a new taste with every bite playing with the different flavors and textures.

I also loved the Caffe Shakerato because I’m a sucker for espresso and anything served in an old fashioned champagne glass.

Siwilai Rocket | Blackberry & Liquorice Rocket Pop

Because I was hanging out here all day with my laptop and I can only handle so much caffeine in one day, I mixed it up by ordering a Blackberry & Liquorice Rocket Pop. The blackberry-liquorice-anise cordial with soda was fruity, refreshing, and delightful.

Siwilai Rocket | Piccolo Latte

I love latte’s but sometimes find that they are more filling than I want/need due to all the milk. Rocket has a solution for that too! the Piccolo Latte is an espresso shot with half the milk of a regular latte.

I could pretty much live here trying all the delicious salads, cocktails, and other dishes – and as you can see I do spend plenty of time here. Like their location on S.49, the staff are super friendly.
