Bangkok Restaurant Review: Veganerie Concept

Veganerie made a name for themselves in Bangkok selling vegan baked goods at vegan-friendly places like farmers markets and Broccoli Revolution. Now they’ve leveraged that into a full-scale restaurant behind Benjasiri Park in Phrom Phong. So when I was trying to think of a good place for a girls Sunday brunch with my three best girlfriends – one of whom is vegan, one who is a celiac, and one who is dieting, Veganerie Concept was a no-brainer selection.

The location is a bit out of the way on a soi removed from the hustle and bustle of Soi Sukhumvit. The interior design is absolutely gorgeous. Modern, clean, and bright, the space is flooded with natural light since the front of the restaurant is floor-to-ceiling windows. A perfect setting for our ladies’ brunch.

Of course they serve a huge selection of the vegan baked goods that made them famous. In addition, the menu features vegan versions of comfort foods such as BBQ “Pork” Sliders and “Fried Chicken”. So for a vegan restaurant, it’s surprisingly hard to find anything healthy or clean to eat. Surprised at the lack of vegetable based offerings, I decided to get the granola bowl with coconut yogurt.

We wound up staying and chatting for hours, sipping on coffee, chatting, and sharing a Cinnamon Bun. A fantastic afternoon with some fabulous women!
