What I Ate In… Niigata, Japan

I spent 3 Weeks in Japan and had the distinct pleasure of spending 4 days in Niigata. I had the incredible opportunity to have my new friend and own personal tour guide, so I got to see all kinds of amazing things the city has to offer. But if all you care about is food, here are the regional specialties I got to try:

  1. Pork & Niigata Rice

  5. Sake (the other kind, salted salmon)
  6. Manju
  7. Suriyaki
  8. Sushi
  9. Popoyaki
