My favorite Bangkok coffee shop chain Rocket has a brand new location in my favorite part of town: Thong Lo! As you walk down S 55 it’s hard to miss the clean, hip Rocket aesthetic on your right. If the courtyard doesn’t catch your eye, then the hipsters doing elaborate photo shoots will. I pretty much assume that’s happening all the time and not just when I walked up.

This location is a “Rocket X” which means it’s grab-and-go style instead of full serve restaurant. This worked for me as I was on my way to Roast across the way to meet a friend for brunch so would’ve had a real dilemma on my hands. Unfortunately, this did mean that I didn’t try any of the bagel creations that they’ve been making me drool over on their Instagram. But I definitely made sure to give myself a little extra time so that I could grab a cup of cold brew deliciousness. The carb extravaganza will have to wait for another weekend!
