Search for “bars in Bangkok” and no matter what the list, Iron Fairies will be on it. And while a little over exposed and over saturated, I really love it. The labyrinth like stairs, the hidden enclosures, the walls full of mini vials of fairy dust*… This bar is my first introduction into the magical, fairy tale interior design of Ashley Sutton (who has also designed many of Bangkok’s famous bars, his personal crowning achievement being Bangkok Bar Review: A.R. Sutton & Co Engineers ).
The drinks are solid and they also have a decent wine selection which is not always easy to find in Bangkok. Oh and there’s more – look at this charcuterie board! CHEESE glorious CHEESE.
