To end of my 1 Month in Myanmar, I spent 24 hours in Yangon before flying out. Here of course we visited the very famous and large Schwedagon Pagoda as well as the Sule Pagoda and had a lovely upscale lunch experience at the Rangoon Tea House which was a nice treat after a month of street food.

We definitely would’ve been more impressed with Schwedagon Pagoda if we started here, but after a month of pagoda seeing we were a bit ‘pagoda-ed out’ and it was lost on us. I think we were also a bit overwhelmed by the bustle of the ‘big city’ after one month of quiet, rural, isolated Myanmar. So if I had to change anything about our trip it would probably have been to start with Yangon.
