After my lovely not quite 24 Hours in Billings, MT and Dad’s not so lovely journey to Billings, we finally got on the road to kick off our epic 1 Week from Billings, Montana to Phoenix, Arizona Father/Daughter Road Trip. On the way out of town we stopped at Walmart to stock up the RV and then caffeined up at Big City. Then we made a beeline to Yellowstone National Park where we were greeted by the famous Roosevelt Arch.
We drove in to the Mammoth Campsite and dropped $20 in the slot to reserve a place to sleep for the evening and were immediately greeted with an up close and personal bison encounter. Sleeping arrangements secured, we headed back to Gardiner to grab some dinner.
Back in town we grabbed some cheesesteaks and beers at the Two Bit Saloon. Then we headed back to our campsite to spend our first night in our RV.
